This past week our very own dance team went to nationals in Orlando and competed against 25 other teams.
They spent a week in Florida and competed a total of four times; hip hop competing three times and spirit showdown competing once.
Hip hop placed in the top ten and spirit showdown placed 16th.
Along with competing, they went to a master class taught by 2022 national champions Grand Valley State University's dance team. They also had some fun going to Universal and bonding as a team.
The dance team had an amazing season this year getting first in regionals, getting over 2 million views on Tiktok, receiving a proclamation from the city of Mt. Juliet, dancing at the University Of Tennessee, six of the girls receiving UDA All-American titles and growing together as a team!
This win for the team was a perfect way to end to the 2023 season, go bears!
