Mt. Juliet High School (MJHS) saw significant ACT score growth during the 2023-24 school year, achieving its highest improvement in four years.
The school's average ACT score rose from 20.6 to 21.3, a 0.7-point increase overall.
In English, students demonstrated exceptional progress with a full-point gain, a significant achievement for students and the English Department at MJHS.
“We are extremely proud of the hard work of our students and teachers in raising our ACT average score from 20.6 to 21.3 for the most recent school year,” Mr. Ryan Hill, MJHS principal, said. “This could not be done without buy-in from everyone in our building. This data is a reflection of the learning that is taking place every day in every classroom."
The theme for the 2024-2025 school year is “Outdo ‘22” which encourages students to outdo a score set just above most college admission standards.
"Our goal is for students to learn every day at MJHS," Hill said.
